Kleinman Realty Co. is a Minneapolis based Accredited Management Organization® specializing in acquisition, rehabilitation and fee-based management of apartment properties.  August D. Kleinman founded Kleinman Realty Co. (KRC) in the 1930s.  The company has grown into a firm that has thrived through three generations of Kleinmans, the Great Depression, and the Great Recession.  This longevity is attributed to the company’s high ethical standards and an unwavering commitment to the rental community – values that were instilled from the very beginning by August.

Kleinman Realty Co. has been providing professional apartment management services across the state of Minnesota for almost a century. We earned the prestigious Accredited Management Organization® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®). Only a small percentage of real estate management companies meet the strict requirements for this designation. Not only does achieving the AMO® designation demonstrate our commitment to professionally manage property, it shows our commitment to integrity and professionalism. Our firm strictly adheres to the AMO® Code of Professional Ethics which is enforced by IREM®.

Our owners seek our experience and resources to maximize the value of their multifamily real estate assets. We not only have vast experience with value-add projects, we pride ourselves on a unique process and team dedicated to oversee renovation projects from concept to completion, including communication with residents and introducing rebrands. We manage real estate assets ranging from traditional brownstones to high density urban communities, under 20 units to over 400 units.

Our employees appreciate the opportunity to grow with us, learn in the industry, and build their real estate management skills. Longevity of our senior leaders and across our team members speaks volumes about our commitment to each other and the owners we work for.
